Day 1

On arrival into Kilimanjaro Airport you will be met by our representative and transfer onto your safari vehicle to head to Tarangire. Afternoon game drives in Tarangire National with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge.

Day 2

Full day game drives exploring the sand rivers, woodlands and amazing stands of baobab trees of Tarangire National Park with its outstanding birdlife, large herds of elephants, plains game and predators. Meals and overnight Kirurumu Tarangire Lodge.

Day 3

Drive to the base of the rift valley escarpment and enter Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing with packed lunch. In the late afternoon arrive at Kirurumu Tented Lodge, perched on the edge of the rift valley escarpment, for dinner and overnight.

Day 4

Optional ethno-botanical accompanied by a Maasai guide walk on the wall of the rift valley. After breakfast drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation to the Serengeti plains with a stop at Olduvai to visit the Leakey museum. Game viewing, with packed lunch en route arriving Serengeti Sopa Lodge by the early evening. Dinner and overnight Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 5

Game-drives exploring the wide-open spaces of the Serengeti, visiting the many different habitats and following the ebb and flow of life in its seasonal movements. The day can be structured to your own requirements. Meals and overnight Serengeti Sopa Lodge.

Day 6

Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for an afternoon game drive with packed lunch. Game viewing at any time of the year is often the best of every safari! Dinner and overnight Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 7

After breakfast leave the crater the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive to Arusha arriving in time for lunch at a local restaurant for lunch. Later transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport to connect on to the beach or flight back home.
