Pumba is home to Africa’s Big 5, where visitors have a chance to experience many of Africa’s wonders - from giraffe to the elusive leopard, antelope, other small game and over 270 species of bird. The unique vegetation of the Eastern Cape is favored by elephants in the dense bushveld environment.
Pumba Private Game Reserve offers luxurious Five Star accommodation at one of two intimate and enchanting lodges.
The luxurious lodge at Pumba Water Lodge comprises 12 stone-walled, thatched, waterfront cottages. Leading off meandering timber footpaths, the cottages open up onto private timber game-viewing decks with outside showers and plunge pools.

Barra Lodge is set in one of the most picturesque areas in Mozambique, with spectacular views of pristine beaches and the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean.

Day 1
Depart London Heathrow for your flight to Cape Town International. On arrival connect with your flight to Port Elizabeth, where you will be met and transferred to Oumba Gane Reserve. You will stay the next three nights at Pumba Water Lodge to enjoy 4x4 Gamedrives, and Guided Walks in search for the Big Five!
Day 2
Driving in custom built 4x4 vehicles, on the lookout for wildlife, spend the day in the reserve enjoying the scenery and the experience. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
After an early morning breakfast, enjoy a gamedrive in the reserve on the look out for the big five, return to camp for breakfast followed by a walk and lunch. In the afternoon enjoy another gamedrive, before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Early morning walk followed by breakfast and then transfer back to Port Elizabeth for your flight onto Johannesburg. Overnight stay at Southern Sun OR Tambo.
Day 5
Depart for your flight to Mozambique, upon arrival you will be transferred to Barra Lodge for the next 6 nights.
