Namib Naukluft Park is the largest conservation area in Namibia covering 40,000 square km and covers much of the Naukluft Mountains and central Namib Desert. The Namib Naukluft Park it is home to some of the rarest and weirdest plant and animal species in the world and to the famous Sossusvlei sand dunes at 300m, which are the highest in the world.
