Situated in 21,000 hectare private reserve bordering the Namib Naukluft Park, this camp lies at a foot of a mountain facing west to catch the magnificent Namib sunsets. Kulala Wilderness Camp is built on elevated platforms so that each room commands a panoramic view of the valley and mountains beyond. The area is known for its physical beauty and some of the highest dunes in the world. This is not a game viewing area, but, there are fairly good sightings of oryx , springbok, Cape fox, jackal, bat-eared foxes and aardwolf.
It is highly recommended for a two night stay to enjoy the Kulala Wilderness Reserve as well as acting as a base for exploring the stark beauty of the Namib Desert.
