Pemba is located on the north coast of Mozambique. Pemba town is steeped in history and is the world’s third largest port and has a long tradition of fishing and commerce inherited by the Arabs as far back as 800 years ago.

The hot rainy season usually runs from December to April, whilst the dry season between May and September is ideal for tourism activities, boasting an average temperature of 28 degrees with cooler nights.
