Rooms & Accommodation

Nuarro comprises of 12 luxury beachfront chalets, each chalet has magnificent sea views and unquestionable privacy with its own access to the main beach and a private sundeck. All chalets have a large verandah, a hammock and sun loungers. All furniture in the chalets are handmade and are from a local craftsmen with each chalet featuring a King Size Bed (or twins), lounge area, bathroom, inside and outside showers, wardrobes and large mosquito nets.

What to do

SNORKELING: The choose is endless at Nuarro to explore the coral gardens at Memba Bay.
DIVING: The activity centre has a fully equipped Dive Centre with its own reception and lounge, a separate classroom for teaching and education, a dressing area with closets and shower facilities. Nuarro offers rental of diving gear and dive tanks, all PADI dive courses and most PADI specialties. Fully kitted dive boats (tailor built dhows) with radio, GPS and emergency kits. Experienced dive instructors are available at all times to accommodate all levels of training and dive groups.
WHALE WATCHING: Whale seaon from June to November is an extremely good time to go and see these animals from the shore or on a boat.
DAY TRIPS: Visit the Lurio Water Falls in the northern end of the Memba district, or encounter the wildlife with a picnic along the banks of the river.
BIKE TOURS: Explore Nuarro’s conservation area on a specially laird out bike tour.

Dining at the Nuarro

A panoramic high-class restaurant & cocktail bar is located on the west end of the beach with view to “Nanatha Island Rock” and the bay beyond. Fresh seafood and salads will form creative menu, which incorporates traditional and international cousine. The restaurant area has sunken lounge area with library where coffee/tea and homemade cakes and cookies are served in the afternoons.
The beach bar is located next to the Marine Activity Centre with a large joined wooden deck with full on sea view and beach access. Comfort and informal atmosphere are the themes at this space.
