Day 1
Depart from the UK to South Africa for your connecting flight to Mozambique
Day 2
Arrive into Johannesburg and transfer to your onward flight to Pemba. Upon arrival you will be met at the airport and shown to your transfer vehicle for the 3-hour road transfer to Mucojo. Arrive Mucojo and dhow transfer to Mogundula Island for dinner and overnight at the camp
Day 3
You have the full day at exploring on Mogundula Island and surrounds. Day trip by dhow to the Pangane Peninsula and/or Macaloe Island from the camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp
Day 4
Today will have you climbing aboard your dhow accompanied by your trusty crew, carrying equipment and supplies. Depart Mogundula for your exploration into the Quirimbas Archipelago! Kayak into the clearest of blue water with pristine corals below to explore under snorkel. Dinner and ovenight at Ulumbwa Camp.
Day 5
Transfer onto Ibo Island to visit Ibo’s 200-year-old ghost town and 16th Century forts. Transfer onto Ibo Islands Lodge where you will stay for 3 nights on a Full Board experience
Day 6
Relax and unwind at this luxury lodge to enjoy the gorgeous views and tropical gardens. Overnight at Ibo Island Lodge
Day 7
Another day at this luxury lodge to explore more of this fascinating island. Overnight at Ibo Island Lodge
Day 8
An included beautiful light aircraft flight over the islands and turquoise waters transfers you to Pemba International Airport from Ibo Island Lodge for your flight back to Johannesburg. Transfer onto the Kruger, Cape Town or back to the UK.
