Day 1
Leave Nairobi and head south for the three and a half hour drive to Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for lunch. After settling in at Amboseli Poroni Camp depart for a late game drive and then overnight at the camp.
Day 2
Take an early breakfast then drive to the Amboseli National Park for a full morning game drive and picnic lunch in the park. Return to Porini Camp later in the afternoon and then head for Selenkay Conservancy for an evening game drive, with a sundowner in the park and a night drive to look for nocturnal animals. Spot creatures like caracals,aardvarks, African wild cats, serval cats, bat-eared foxes and more before returning to camp for dinner and an overnight stop.
Day 3
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then transfer back to Nairobi for lunch at the Village Market. Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park to arrive by mid-afternoon at Lion Hill Lodge for a two night stay. The lodge has wonderful views across Lake Nakuru. After tea join the game drive to see the vast flocks of flamingo that the lake is famous for. There are many other species in the park as well, including big cats like lion and leopard, along with buffalo, zebra, both rhino species, the Rothschild’s giraffe, impala and waterbuck. Spend the night at Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 4
Early morning game drive to try to spot the leopard, frequently sighted in Lake Nakuru Park. Return to Lion Hill Lodge for breakfast then take another drive to look for the two species of African rhino that are found in Nakuru. Return for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing before an evening game drive. Overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.
Day 5
Return to Nairobi after breakfast and catch an onward flight to the Maasai Mara with a two night stay at Mara Porini Camp. Arrive in time to catch an early evening game drive.
Day 6
Spend the whole day in the Mara, heading out in the morning in the camp’s custom-built 4WD vehicles and having a picnic lunch. Search for the big cats that the Mara is famous for. Enjoy a sundowner drink and continue with a night game drive, returning to camp for dinner and a second overnight stop.
Day 7
Game drive before breakfast and then fly back to Nairobi.
