Our classic Capital to Coast Safari, journeys from Nairobi down to Mombasa Coast taking in two prime wildlife areas for safari before ending up on the white sands of the Kenya Coast.
The safari starts in Nairobi, visiting a few of the highlights such as the elephant orphange, giraffe centre and get your first taste of safari at the Nairobi National Park.
You then travel to Amboseli, home to a large number of elephants and with magnificent views of Kilimanjaro. Then you will journey to Tsavo National Park, where you will continure your safari experience in a game area the size of Wales!

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to Macushla House for overnight
Day 2: Leave Machusla House after breakfast for a full days excursion. Visit the elephant orphanage, where you can get up close with baby elephants and join in with feeding time. Learn about and hand feed giraffes at the giraffe sanctuary and move on to Karen Blixen museum. Enjoy lunch at The Carnivore restaurant before heading into Nairobi National Park for the afternoon, where you will see a large number of animals. Return to Machushla House for dinner and overnight
Day 3: Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive south to Selenkay Conservation Area (a 3 hour journey of 102 miles), arriving at Amboseli Porini Camp before lunch. Enjoy afternoon tea, followed by a walk along the Selenkay sand river, escorted by Maasai trackers and a guide, who will give you an insight into their fascinating culture and way of life. Return to camp for a shower, dinner and overnight
Day 4: After an early breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park for a morning game drive within the Park to see the elephants at close quarters, followed by a picnic lunch. In the afternoon you will return to Amboseli Porini Camp for a rest and then an evening game drive in Selenkay Conservancy, ending with a sundowner at a scenic spot. Return to Amboseli Porini Camp for dinner after which there will be a night game drive using a spotlight to seek out some of the nocturnal animals such as aardvarks (antbears), serval cats, bat-eared foxes and possibly even the elusive leopard. Overnight Amboseli Porini Camp
Day 5: Brief early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then transfer on to Satao Rock Camp in Tsavo East National Park by mini bus. Enjoy lunch before your late afternoon game drive, in 4 x 4 vehicle, to explore the area around the camp and to seek out the wildlife of Tsavo which includes a wide variety of species including elephant, lion, cheetah, buffalo, Beisa oryx, lesser kudu, hippo, zebra, giraffe. After dinner enjoy watching the game from your private balcony
Day 6: Early morning game drive, returning to Satao Rock for a late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure to walk in the lodge grounds or to observe wildlife at from the camp. After lunch there will be an afternoon game drive, returning for dinner and overnight
Day 7: After breakfast you will continue your journey down to the white sands and blue seas of Kenya’s coast, transfering to your hotel in Mombasa
