Day 1
Drive south from Nairobi to Selenkay Conservation Area, a three-hour and 102-mile trip. Arrive at Porini Camp for lunch and then, following afternoon tea, take a guided walk down the Selenkay Sand River with Maasai trackers who will give you an insight into their unique culture.

Day 2
Have an early breakfast at the camp then drive to Amboseli National Park for a game drive to see elephants, followed by a picnic lunch. Return to Porini in the afternoon then take an evening game drive in Selenkay, with an evening sundowner drink in the open, admiring the scenery. Dinner at Porini followed by a spotlight-assisted night game drive to spot some of the area’s nocturnal animals like serval cats, aardvarks, bat-eared foxes and maybe even leopard. Stay the night at Porini Camp.

Day 3
Morning game drive, breakfast, and then drive on to Nairobi for lunch. Depart in the afternoon for Mbweha Camp located in the 6,400-acre Congreve Conservancy, arriving by late afternoon for an activity and overnight stop at the camp.

Day 4
Spend the day in Lake Nakuru Park taking a picnic lunch and returning to Mbweha Camp in the afternoon with time to relax before a night time game drive in Congreve Conservancy. Overnight stop at Mbweha Camp.

Day 5
Morning activity followed by transfer to Nairobi for lunch and then to catch a flight to the legendary Maasai Mara. Arrive by the afternoon for a game drive in the Mara, exploring the savannah to see some of the huge variety of wildlife for which the Mara is world famous, especially the large lion population. The Maasai Mara is considered Kenya’s best wildlife region and borders the Serengeti, forming a complete eco-system.

The Mara’s open savannah is home to many species of big cat including cheetah, lion and leopard and many other animals like elephant, zebra, wildebeest, rhino, eland, topi, hyena, jackal, buffalo, gazelle and warthog. The annual wildebeest migration takes place from June to September, with thousands sweeping across the plains to find new grazing. Overnight at Mara Porini.

Day 6
Spend a full day in the Mara with a picnic lunch and overnight at Mara Porini.

Day 7
Early morning game drive followed by breakfast and a return flight to Nairobi.
