This superb value 4-5* standard fly-in itinerary covers the little known wonders of the Kalahari Desert and Nxai Pan, followed by the quintessential Botswana – the Okavango Delta. Two nights are spent at the new Tau Pan Camp – the first camp to be built inside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, and the ideal place to explore Deception Valley Pan and nearby areas. You will also have the opportunity to meet San Bushman trackers. Enjoy two nights at Nxai Pan Camp next from where you can visit Baine’s Baobabs and have the chance of seeing many wildlife species including antelope, zebra, cheetah and lion. Kwara Lodge in the heart of the Okavango Delta is the next stop where you can enjoy day and night game drives as well as mokoro excursions, motor boat cruises and bush walks. And finally two nights are spent at Kwando Lagoon Camp in the north of the Delta region, on the Kwando River. Here you can experience game drives, motor boat cruises and guided walks whilst enjoying the spectacular birding, wildlife viewing and perhaps some fishing.

Day 1
Upon arrival into Maun you will be met and transferred by light aircraft to Tau Pan. Tau Pan offers incredible views from the ridge of the ancient sand dune and overlooks the famous Tau Pan itself. Enjoy an afternoon gamedrive by the professional guides as well as a traditional sundowner.
Day 2
Today brings a full day of activities from bush walks to boat cruises along the Lagoon.
Day 3
Take a flight from Tau to Nxai Pan (a sister to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park). Stay at Nxai Pan Camp, a place to relax and enjoyt with its own swimming pool. Enjoy your first 4x4 gamedrive in the National Park in search for those large predators. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Today brings a historical tour to Baines Baobab (also known as the Seven Sisters), a gamedrive and maybe even a game walk.
Day 5
Take a short flight from Nxai to Moremi, where you can enjoy a wide range of activities at Kwara Camp. The intricate channels, rivers and lagoons means there is a selection of water excursions available from Mokoro to powerboat. There is also the ability to drive both off-road and at night making this area very unique.
Day 6
Experience the peace and tranquillity of gliding silently through the Delta waters in the early morning or perhaps feel the pulse and excitement of a lion hunt at night. Whilst on an island walk with an armed guide you will gain an insight into the smaller aspects of this ecosystem.
Day 7
This morning transfer to Moremi airstrip for your flight onto Chobe National Park.
Lagoon Camp lies on the shady banks of the Kwando River, enjoy morning and evening gamedrives in open vehicles as well as double deck boat cruises and guided walks.
Day 8
Full day of activities at Lagoon Camp to make sure you spot the abundance of wildlife which includes wild dog.
Day 9
Take a light aircraft back to Maun for your flight via Johanneburg to the UK.
