Xugana Island Lodge

The Xugana Lagoon is one of the most spectacular parts of the Okavango Delta and home to the Xugana Island Lodge. The lodge is on a wooded island and featured an open dining area overlooking the delta, and lounge, bar and dining areas also set back under a canopy of trees in open-sided thatched areas. The pool is surrounded by mature gardens and accommodation is in one of the eight raised reed and thatch chalets.

Day 1
Transfer by air from Kasane to Xugana Island Lodge. Arrive around lunch time. Afternoon activity. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight
Day 2
Early breakfast and depart on morning activity, returning to the camp for lunch. Afternoon at leisure, relaxing, walking or bird watching. Afternoon tea and depart on afternoon activity and sundowner. Return to camp for dinner and overnight
Day 3
Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Kasane to connect for your onward safari

Access and Distance

  • Xugana Island Lodge is best accessed via air to Kasane and then charter flight to Xugana Airstrip, where you will be met a transfer to the lodge

Accommodation

  • 8 spacious raised reed and thatch chalets with en-suite facilities, walk in showers, overhead fans and a private deck
  • His & Hers Robes are provided
