Tanzania Safari 

You will be picked up in Arusha, taken for lunch and then onwards to Mayara Serena Lodge. At Lake Manyara National Park, famous for it’s tree-climbing lions, you’re ’home’ will be the Manyara Serena Lodge, offering views of the alkaline lake, frequented by huge flocks of flamingos. Then on to the famous Serengeti National Park, where some of the largest concentrations of wildlife are found. You’ll stay at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge, in their unique ’Rondavel’ rooms, inspired by traditional African dwellings. Then on to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, perched on the rim of the crater, offering breath-taking views of the famous Ngorongoro Crater. The next morning you’ll have a half day inside the crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on the look out for the big five.

Itinerary

Day 1

Leave for Lake Manyara National Park after lunch and take an afternoon game drive before dinner and an overnight stop at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

Day 2

After breakfast spend the morning on a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions. After lunch depart for the Serengeti National Park and join an afternoon game drive. Overnight stop at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

Day 3

Breakfast then a game drive in the Serengeti, with its abundant wildlife. Lunch at Serengeti Serena Lodge before moving onto Ngorongoro for dinner and an overnight stop at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, which is spectacularly located on the rim of a crater.

Day 4

Half-day crater tour after breakfast, where you can see an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the big five of lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo. Drive across the forest and near the soda lake to view the bird-life. Ascend to the lodge from the 2000ft. deep crater. After lunch at the Lunch at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge depart for Arusha.
