In the heart of Botswana’s Chobe National Park, Savute Safari Lodge sits on the banks of the now dry Savute channel, part of the dynamic Savute eco system renowned for its large concentration of elephant and large lion prides. The intimate lodge offers 12 uniquely designed ‘Safari Suites’, their spacious interior and large glass sliding doors sets the lodge apart from typical safari accommodation. The lodge also has a swimming pool on a raised wooden teak deck overlooking the channel, affording guests the opportunity to watch game while swimming!
It is highly recommended for a 3 night stay to enjoy the camp and the activities on offer and as a good base to explore the Chobe National Park
Itinerary: 3 nights / 4 Days
Itinerary Day 1 Air transfer from Kasane to Savute Airstrip, where you will be met and transfered to Savute Safari Lodge. Arrive around lunch time. Afternoon activity. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight
Day 2 Early breakfast and depart on morning activity, returning to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure, relaxing, walking or bird watching. Afternoon activity. Return to camp for dinner and overnight
Day 3 Early breakfast and depart on morning activity, returning to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure, relaxing, walking or bird watching. Afternoon activity. Return to camp for dinner and overnight
Day 4 Breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Kasane, to connect for your onward safari
Access and Distance
- The lodge is best accessed via air to Kasane and then charter flight to Savute Airstrip, where you will be met to transfer to the lodge

- 12 thatched Safari Suites’ crafted from timber and glass with sitting area, private deck and ensuite bathroom
