Mara Intrepids 

Located within the boundaries of the Maasai Mara National Park and just a short drive from the Mara River where the annual migration crosses every July and August. This eco aware tented lodge enjoys a fantastic location (where most of the 2004 big cat diaries were filmed) with a suspension bridge allowing for crossing into the National Park and viewing over the river. There is also an observation tower facilitating fabulous elevated views into the Park

It is highly recommended for a 2 night stay to fully explore the Maasai Mara National Park

Itinerary - Duration: 2 nights / 3 days

Itinerary

Day 1

Fly from Wilson Airport straight into Maasai Mara (50 minutes). On arrival you will be transferred to Mara Intrepids. Evening game drive for a first view of the wildlife species for which the Mara is famous

Day 2

A full day in the Maasai Mara National Park with morning game drive followed by lunch. Afternoon at your leisure or relaxing by the swimming pool. Late afternoon/early evening game drive, followed by dinner and overnight

Day 3

An early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then transfer to the airstrip for your Air Kenya flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi

Access and Distance

The property is best accessed by air from Nairobi (50 minutes) or from other National Parks. Alternatively the camp is at least 6 hours by road from Nairobi
