Little Governors Camp 

This private and intimate camp has just 17 tents and from every veranda the view changes daily.
Getting to the camp is an adventure in itself, you first have to cross the Mara River by boat, then walk a short distance, escorted by armed guards, through the forest where you will stumble upon the camp. In keeping with safari tradition lighting is by gas and kerosene lantern or candlelight.

It is highly recommended for a 2 night stay to fully explore the Maasai Mara National Park

Itinerary - Duration: 2 nights / 3 days

Itinerary

Day 1

Fly from Wilson Airport straight into Maasai Mara (50 minutes). On arrival you will be transferred to Little Governors Camp. Evening game drive for a first view of the wildlife species for which the Mara is famous

Day 2

A full day in the Maasai Mara National Park with morning game drive followed by lunch at the camp and then evening game drive and overnight

Day 3

An early morning game drive followed by breakfast and then transfer to the airstrip for your Air Kenya flight to Wilson Airport, Nairobi

Access and Distance

• The property is best accessed by air from Nairobi (50 minutes) or from other National Parks
• Alternatively the camp is at least 6 hours by road from Nairobi

• 17 Spacious insect-proof Safari Style permanent tents
• En-suite bathrooms with shower, basin, flushing toilet and bidet

• Large tent with bar and dining area where dinner is served by candlelight
