Resting on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, this eco aware tented camp offers high standards of comfort in a traditional safari camp setting. Located in the heart of Samburu National park, known for it’s dramatic scenery and several unusual species, Larsen’s Camp is home to an assortment of birds and wildlife.
We recommend a 2 night safari to make the most of this scenic park Itinerary: 2 nights / 3 Days
Itinerary Day 1 Fly from Wilson Airport to Samburu (approx 1 hour), and short transfer to Larsen’s Camp, arriving for lunch. Spend the afternoon at your leisure, either relaxing on your private veranda or watching the birds on the banks of the river. Evening game drive and return back to camp for dinner and overnight
Day 2 Enjoy a full day in Samburu National Park with morning game drive followed by lunch and afternoon game drive. Overnight in Larsen’s Camp
Day 3 Early morning game drive followed by breakfast, and then transfer to the airstrip for the flight back to Nairobi
Access and Distance
The property is best accessed by air from Nairobi (50 minutes) to an all weather landing strip. Alternatively Larsen’s Camp is 345 km from Nairobi by road taking at least 5 hours
