Best of Kenya 

Day 1

Leave Nairobi for the three-hour 102-mile journey south to Selenkay Conservation Area and arrive at Porini Camp before lunch. After afternoon tea take a guided walk along the Selenkay Sand River, where Maasai trackers and a guide will introduce you to the local way of life. Return to the camp to freshen up and enjoy dinner before overnighting at Porini.

Day 2

Take an early breakfast then drive to Amboseli National Park to take a morning game drive to watch the elephants close up, followed by a picnic lunch. Return to Porini Camp is the afternoon and then take an evening game drive in Selenkay, rounded off with a sundowner drink at a scenic spot. Dinner at Porini Camp for dinner and then a night game drive using a spotlight to pick out nocturnal creatures like serval cats, bat-eared foxes, aardvarks and maybe even the secretive leopard. Overnight at Porini Camp.

Day 3

Early breakfast and then drive to Amboseli Park and on to the airstrip to fly to Samburu. Arrive aroound 1pm for lunch at Samburu Intrepids, where you will havr a two-night stay. Take an afternoon game drive at the Samburu Reserve.

Day 4

Take morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Reserve with a second overnight stop at Samburu Intrepids.

Day 5

Game drive before breakfast and then fly from Samburu to the Mara for a two-night stay at the Mara Porini Camp. Evening game drive to explore the area and wildlife near the camp.

Day 6

Spend a full day in the Maasai Mara taking a picnic lunch. Expect to spot lions and many other species incuding leopard, cheetah, elephant, zebra, hippo, rhino, buffalo, wildebeest, hyena, topi and eland. Overnight at Mara Porini Camp.

Day 7

Drive back to the airstrip for a short morning flight to Nairobi.
