The exclusive Abu Camp is situated in a 400 000-acre private reserve in the heart of the Okavango Delta. The luxurious tents are located under a shady canopy in an ancient riverine forest overlooking a lagoon. Each tent is beautifully and individually furnished with mahogany four-poster beds or antique sleigh beds. Guests at Abu Camp are invited to walk or ride the resident elephant family which is, without doubt, the ultimate elephant education safari. Plains game is abundant in the area from giraffe, zebra, elephant, impala, tsessebe and lechwe to wildebeest, buffalo and warthog. The camp also has a resident pride of lion which are often heard calling at night.
It is highly recommended for a 3 night stay to enjoy the camp and all the activities on offer and as a base to explore the Okavango Delta
